This report brings together data from two ongoing major global tobacco research and surveillance studies – the International Tobacco Control Policy Evaluation Project (the ITC Project) and the Global Tobacco Surveillance System (GTSS) – to examine people’s awareness of the cardiovascular risks of tobacco use, and secondhand smoke exposure.

Abstracts submitted to the World Conference on Tobacco or Health (WCTOH), 2013, held in Singapore.

Poster presented at the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco (SRNT) Annual Meeting, February 24-27, 2010, Hilton Baltimore Hotel, Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

The ITC Project produced the ITC Tobacco Warning Labels Report to present its findings to the 2009 World No Tobacco Day (WNTD), which focused on pictorial warnings.

This Report summarizes the evidence from ITC Project findings to provide guidance to policymakers in implementing Article 14. This Report was created in November 2010.
